Strong Encryption of Your Notes
Every note you create is encrypted using advanced AES-256 encryption, a widely trusted industry standard.
This encryption happens on our secure server using a unique secret key tied to our website — ensuring your note content is stored safely and cannot be read by anyone else.
Without this secret key, the encrypted notes are just indecipherable data
Secure, Private Sharing Links
When you create a note, we generate a random, unique link that only you and those you share it with can use to access the note.
This link contains a secure token that acts like a password — without it, nobody can open your note.
We never include readable note content in the link or anywhere publicly accessible.
Controlled Access with Expiry and View Limits
Each note can be set to expire after a certain number of views or a set number of days (default is 100 views or 365 days).
This means your notes won’t remain accessible forever and limits the chance of unauthorized viewing.
Our administrators can override these settings if needed, but only with strict controls.
Protection Against Malicious Inputs
We block notes containing any links (like websites) to prevent phishing or spam attempts.
We also maintain a ban list of IP addresses known for abuse to keep the platform safe for everyone.
All input data is carefully cleaned and validated to prevent hacking attempts like SQL injection.
Anonymous and Private Note Creation
You can create notes anonymously — no account or personal info required.
We log the IP address for administrative purposes only, to help prevent misuse, but this information is never shared publicly.
What About Client-Side Encryption?
Currently, all encryption happens securely on our server. This means your notes are protected from unauthorized access within our system.
In future updates, we plan to add client-side encryption, which will allow your notes to be encrypted right in your browser before they’re sent to us — giving you even stronger privacy, because we won’t ever see your unencrypted notes.
